Terms of use

In short

Be 13 or older, be yourself, follow the four rules. What you post stays yours. We can remove what breaks the rules, and you can leave whenever you like.

1. Who can use BS Connect

You must be 13 or older, and some limits apply until you are 18. An IITM email marks you as a verified student; any other email joins as a guest. One account for each person, in your real name.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email. Keep your email safe: whoever can read it can sign in as you.

3. What you post

Your posts, messages and photos are yours. You let us store them and show them to the people you chose. Delete any of them at any time, and they are gone.

4. The rules

The Community guidelines are part of these terms. We may remove anything that breaks them, and pause or remove an account that keeps breaking them. We tell you when we do, and you can ask us to look again.

5. Meeting people

BS Connect helps students find each other. It does not check who anyone is beyond their email. You decide whom to meet. Meet for the first time in a public place.

6. What we do not promise

The app is offered as it is. It may be slow, wrong or unavailable at times. Events and places shown come from their organisers, not from us.

7. Leaving

Delete your account at any time in Settings, or on this site. We may close the service with 30 days' notice.

8. Law

These terms follow the law of India. Disputes go to the courts of ⟨city⟩.
